Founded in 2017, The Players' Impact originated as a group of athletes primarily interested in investing in startups. As our community grew, we quickly realized there was more to this group than investing. Identifying our diverse community as Athlete Investors, Athlete Entrepreneurs and those in transition, we offer resources and access for all. Now TPI is a hub for business-minded pro athletes(both current, former and Olympian) seeking to achieve business success, preserve and build wealth, and leave a legacy beyond their sports careers.


TPI combines an extensive and elite cross-sport athlete network with industry experts, early stage business resources, and high-end investment opportunities. Our ecosystem has everything an athlete entrepreneur and investor needs to thrive and successfully launch into new endeavors.

Tracy DeForge
Founder, CEO

Tracy is focused on the growth of early stage companies, venture investment and pioneering business initiatives in the sports industry. In addition to having her J.D. from Seton Hall Law School she has held positions at the NHL and MLB Advanced Media. She is a former division 1 track and field athlete, a 6-time marathon finisher, a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Marques Colston
Partner, Managing Director

A former 10-year NFL veteran and Super Bowl champion, Marques is also an investor, consultant, and advisor to various early stage companies with a focus on sports, media, and technology. Additionally he is a Co-Founder and Program Director of an Executive Education program with Columbia Business School focused on venture investing and entrepreneurship for athletes.


Jason Lavender

Jason Lavender is a TPI co-founder and has extensive experience in management consulting. He is also a founding venture partner with NextGen Venture Partners.

Kristen Kuliga

Kristen Kuliga is a 20+ year sports marketing and management veteran with experience in athlete representation (NFL Agent), corporate consulting, biz dev, licensing, sponsorship sales, event management and raising capital.

Drew Sheinman

Drew Sheinman has extensive experience developing and commercializing global celebrity, sports and lifestyle brands and businesses as an owner, entrepreneur and venture partner.

Garrett Klugh

Garrett Klugh is the COO of Falk Ventures, the venture capital arm for the family office of legendary sports agent, David Falk. Garrett is also the co-founder of Huddle Sports Partners.

Bryce Salvador

Bryce Salvador is a former NHL Player and Captain, who has become an experienced entrepreneur and executive working in the sports industry.

Charles Baker

Charles Baker is Co-Chair of O’Melveny’s Sports Industry Group. Chuck’s corporate practice encompasses mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions, with a core focus in the sports, media and consumer sectors.

Iman Farrior

Iman Farrior is the National Program Manager at Compass, a real estate tech company backed by the SoftBank Vision Fund, among other investors. Previously, she was a corporate attorney at Vinson & Elkins and ExxonMobil before operating a business consulting firm and managing a real estate portfolio for 8 years. She holds a BS in Management and Business Law from Tulane University, an MBA from Rice University, and a JD from the University of Texas School of Law.
